Making all the little details that tie a design together is one of my favorite things. Kristine, the bride, found me just two months before her wedding and brought me in to design all the extra little elements that will help make her wedding day day a perfect reflection of the bride and groom! As she's a "long distance bride" I wanted to share the bits and pieces now, and she'll send me all the pictures of how it all came together on her wedding day! We started with their wedding contract, which I posted last week. With that design finished, we took those elements and carried them across all her other designs.
The next design element was creating a fun and unique guest book alternative that would tie into their modern vineyard theme. So we decided on a "Message in a Bottle" guest book. I designed wine bottle labels for all their big future wedding anniversaries, little note cards for the guests to fill out and insert into each of the bottles, and a sign that she'll frame to explain the whole process.
Next we designed sticker labels for their cookie dessert bar, these stickers will label the front of each jar to say: "Try Our Family Favorites" and then have another jar on each end for the bride and grooms favorites. The little stickers will go on the lid of each jar to call out the different cookie options. It's amazing how something little like stickers can really elevate the look of a dessert display!
Then we designed the little card labels for the bubbles they'll be blowing after their first kiss which say "Blow us a kiss when we're announced Mr. & Mrs."
Last but not least were the table numbers, instead of traditional place cards, we decided on a more impactful design, buy creating a large 30in x 40in seating chart poster (which I'll share with you on Thursday!) So that people will have that extra reminder that they're sitting at the correct table, we put the guests names on the table numbers, which will be held up by a wine cork holder which Kristine already had.
You can see how everything is brought together with a cohesive style, color palette and design elements. I know I can't wait to see how her whole day comes together!
