I wanted to share this recently completed wedding invitation suite. Arlene and Christopher are getting married in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and have a great connection to the area. A beloved professor brought together some of their closest friends, so we included the statue for the 93rd regiment as tribute to him, and based their wedding logo off of it as well. By incorporating a map of Gettysburg, some hand drawn elements (which you can see the process of here and here), a hand drawn map of the area, and a modern layout and fonts, we got to a place we were all loving! Then it was off to print and assemble! It's the perfect invitation design for a modern wedding, paying homage to a historical area!
