Save the Date: Gilded Design Redo

gold grey and white wedding save the date, gold foil

You may remember Celia and Ben's save the dates, they've proven to be VERY popular, and I've had lots of requests to have them recreated in new color palettes and with new elements. With the original design, the gold edges were actually hand painted as I didn't have a foil press shop that I loved yet. Now that I do, I think the look and feel is even richer! Charlotte and Russell wanted a lighter color palette and I absolutely LOVE the gold with the grey.

Wedding Save the Date: Watercolor Teal and Gold

Claire came to me on a VERY short timeline, so we pulled together elements and pieces from a couple of my past designs to make something completely new and amazing! We knew that we wanted a bright teal and navy combo with some perfect placed hits of gold as an accent. I did this watercolor wash for a save the date a while ago that we ended up going in a different direction for, but it's always been one of my favorites, so being able to use it was a huge plus! I think these are so modern and fun, perfect for Claire and Aiden!

Wedding Save the Date: Classic Elegance

Gold white and blush custom wedding save the date

Things are classic for a reason. With some shimmer, classic details and a mix of clean modern fonts and lovely flourished scripts, it's hard to go wrong. i created a version of this design originally in very different materials and color palette for Krystle and Keishawn. Stephanie saw them and loved them, but wanted them to be a bit lighter and in classic materials. We went with white, gold and blush for a classic romantic look, perfect for the wedding she has planned!

Custom Wedding Save the Date: Patterned Gold Foil!

custom wedding save the date with patterned gold foil, white black and gold

I have so many new designs to share! I just haven't had the time to write about them, but I couldn't wait any more to share some of the fun! This design is one of my favorites this season. Megan & Bryan loved Celia and Ben's save the dates, and wanted to bring a little bit more of an industrial flare to it to tie into their venue and overall look. They knew they wanted to use gold foil, but we decided to give it a bit of a masculine feel by going with this AMAZING patterned foil, It's gold and black which gives the whole thing a bit of a worked metal look and feel. With an organic "metallic dust" pattern around the edges for just enough shimmer, it all came together perfectly with a black envelope, and a kraft paper address wrap and liner. I'm still hard core in love with this sucker! It's been crazy town over here, but I'll do my best to share all the prettiness thats been happening in the coming weeks!

Custom Wedding Save the Dates: a Modern Family Crest

custom designed family crest wedding save the dates

Michelle is another new client who fell in love with Celia & Ben's save the dates. Her and Paul are a super fun couple with a love of athletics, hence their wedding catch phrase "Team Tremblay". Paul's family has a family crest that they are very proud of and they wanted to include it in their wedding design. So starting with a modern design, I updated their family crest by redrawing it and adding the banner with their wedding phrase. It's a perfect balance of modern and classic!
