So this was one of my favorite weddings of the past year and it's fresh on my mind since it just happened! Ashley and Hugh were so much fun and all about trusting me to come up with something awesome after they told me all about their plans of a wedding weekend full of adventure in Aspen, Colorado. We wanted a modern spin on vintage ski postcards, which is where the fonts and general layout came in. We modernized the look with a gradient watercolor wash meant to give the impression of the mountains where their wedding would take place. We went with a copper foil to give it a more vintage feel than the more modern gold foil. The copper would tie into the mixed metallics they were planning to use throughout their wedding. I was lucky enough to follow up this save the date with their wedding invites, unique table numbers, place cards, signage and more for their big day! I'll be sharing the invites soon, but will have to hold all the day of designs for later as we're hoping for the wedding to be published because of all its awesome unique elements.
