I think if there were an official color palette for the last two wedding seasons, it would be blush and gold! But no matter how many times people tell me those are their colors, I feel like there is always a way to make it fresh and new and lovely. It's a favorite for a reason! Lauren, the bride, knew she wanted something classic and clean with a modern twist. She had also seen the idea for a mini reception card envelope and knew it was something she wanted to include and I was happy to oblige! I did the modern calligraphy touches for the names and other important details and subtle blush watercolor washes in the backgrounds. Doing a watercolor wash behind the addresses is something I've done on a handful of invitations this year and it's a details i ALWAYS love. We brought in gold foil on the invites and on the small details card and I just love how it all came together! What do you think?
