I'm back! Between the new job and a crazy amount of fall weddings here at Wouldn't it be Lovely, July and August are proving to be a little on the nutty side. I finally had time to photograph three of the invitation suites I've finished recently, and i thought I'd share this one first, as it's all about beachy goodness and summer seems to be quickly coming to an end.
Heather and Joe are getting married at Ocean Edge Resort in Cape Cod. One of the very first invitations I worked on was at the same venue, and though there are some similar elements, it ends up with a very different feel with the mix of neutral papers and natural elements. We wanted to keep the beach elements subtle and modern, so they were brought in as silhouettes and little details. The Bride and Groom were drawn to the idea of garden by the sea, but didn't want overly feminine details, I think we hit the nail on the head! Congrats Joe and Heather!
