Today I'm sharing my most recently completed wedding invitation suite! These are for one of my awesome friends from RISD. She's a fabulous designer in her own right, but like most brides with full time jobs, the idea of doing it herself or browsing though hundreds of options online seemed rather daunting. So we talked about what she wanted: Something somewhat traditional, but with fun elements that took into account the location: New York City, and the date: 4th of July weekend! We didn't want to go overboard with either, so we incorporated the antique map of NYC and the "airmail" edges to bring in a little bit of that "red, white and blue" feel. The wording and fonts are traditional, but the mix of papers and placement of the borders keep it fresh and modern! The perfect Independence Day wedding invitations!
